Hi John , i was just reading a blog written collectively by a group of crime writers and they spoke about getting an email from someone asking how to go about it.
You post here is so useful, open and honest i thought i would take the liberty of flagging it to the writers of the crime blog.
I hope that that is ok, PC and brings you, them or someone else help, contacts and a fat contract.
let me know if i was out of place and i will atone for it in whatever suitable way you suggest.
You could even open a contest for the best idea?
Their blog is here.

Although you are right and An Egyptian jail would be the last place, there used to be a theory circulating some street performers to the effect that one was never truly liberated (as a street performer) if you had not spent time in jail (preferably only one night).
Any views on this?

For all of us mere humans not on the global circuit we say as a group we would have liked you to suffer more. At least to be bitten by a rat that would have made us feel better. Maybe Nadene can arrange for a rat in the bed when you least expect

The Wally Boag referred to in Steve's book is not an old gag writer. He was the star of Disneyland's Golden Horseshoe Revue for 27 years. Steve would go see the show often and picked up Wally's sense of timing and ability to connect with an audience. Mr. Boag has just completed his biography, "Wally Boag, Clown Prince of Disneyland," which is available at wallyboag.com

Seth's read your book at least 4 times now, more if you count the late nights he spends reading along with the podcast. With the multiple other stories on tape he has, Shadowmagic is still the one he listens to EVERY NIGHT! He anxiously checks his e-mail daily (when not grounded) to see if you've sent the second installment of book two. If you need an honest, albeit childish review of your book to help boost sales, Seth would be more than happy. Especially if it meant getting book two out faster...hint hint

Ah, the IBM convention. Brings back some memories, last time we were at Southport I lost my car keys and had to drive home to Reading and back in a hire car to collect the spare set.

Well done for getting so many people to part with their money, not always an easy job in the dealers hall. You might have sold more had you told them it was part of a trick :D
